Bio: When most people hear the name Al Stern, their thoughts immediately go to his well publicized rise to power, followed immediately by the brutal silencing of his critics. There is, however, more to Al than meets the eye. Behind that tough, brooding exterior is an even tougher interior that can only be described as broodinger. Little is known about Al's youth. Raised on the rough and tumble streets of the suburbs of Detroit, he thrived, against all odds, with nothing more than a generous allowance from his family, a unusually low crime rate in his upper middle class neighborhood, and most importantly, his wits. Al's first foray into the public spotlight was hilighted by his wildly successful clothing line all bearing the now famous tagline, "Kiss me, I'm Al." Sadly, public backlash from his follow up line of "Blow me, I'm Al" merchandise bankrupted the company and forced Al back into seclusion. Al resurfaced years later, gaining instant fame through his infomercials promoting his "bald is beautiful" brand clear hair dye. As his fortune grew, so did his desire for new challenges and in 2003, Al gave up his empire and turned his attention another of his unrealized dreams.... Playing baseball for the Electrons. He bats/throws left, and runs slow.
